I have 2 weird dreams that just stand out to me for some reason.

This is more about a house than it is the multiple dreams I have in it. It keeps coming up in my dreams and even my day dreams. I want to say it’s similar to an old plantation house but It seems like it might be smaller (though maybe not). It’s white with a large front yard and a gravel driveway and gravel road. both sides of the yard are lined with Osage orange trees. The house is white and aged with slightly chipping paint. It has a large porch that covers the whole front of the house and it usually has a bench swing on the left side and some wicker chairs near the door which is a screen door in front of a simple, thick white door. The inside has a large open space about the size of two average sized bedrooms. It had a stair case to the right that leads up to the second level you can see the little "crossing" between the two halls. (I’ll explain later). To the right of the room is a large living room and connected to the back to it is a large room with a piano, a desk, and shelves of books in it. Behind the stair case is a door that leads to that second room. To the left of the room is a slightly large dinning room with an oval wooden table with six chairs. and connected to the back right side of it was the kitchen. You could get to the kitchen through the dining room and by the door at the end of the main room. The main floor has marble floors except the living room and library with wooden floors. The stairs were marble too with a red carpet going down them. The upstairs was hardwood with the same long, red "oriental" rug. When you got to the top of the stairs, there was a was the open space where you could see the lower level and two hallways. Each of the hallways had four rooms (two on each side of the hall) except the hall the the right had a bathroom. All the rooms are identical. It would be the size of a large bedroom with nothing but a large bed, a dresser and a bathroom connected to the left of the bedroom. The halls are usually dark. I’m not sure why. The only thing that decorated the hall was a long thing table with flowers under a some unidentified portrait of someone in the area that looks over the main floor. Why do I keep dreaming of this house?

I had a dream that I was the office aid for the school I was currently attending. They had given me a letter to deliver to a house. The next thing I remember is that I’m standing in front of the house and it was dark out. I didn’t recognize the house at all. It looked like a newer two story house. Oh, by the way, everything (meaning the town, school, and people) are all recognizable to me except this house. I went inside and it was like all white with emerald green carpets. The living room was immediately to the left and it just had a couch and a coffee table that was covered in dishes, food, and wrappers. There was a TV attatched to the right wall across from the couch. Straight ahead was a hallway with about five rooms and a doorway at the end of it that lead to dark stairs. I walked down the dark hallway to the only open door, which was the last one on the left. There were two bunk beds side by side in this small room and it was completely empty except for one person. There was someone on the top bunk of the right bunk bed. I could only see their feet, an arm, and a part of their head that only revealed an eye. Suddenly, that dark eye opened and stared a death glare straight at me. I was suddenly struck with fear. I had never been in so much fear in my life. I couldn’t move. I was only able to move when I heard voices outside and ditched the letter and left. When I told an internet friend this dream, they said that it was their house and I had saw a guy that lives there (that I had not yet met at the time). I thought that was really cool. But I recently found out (without their knowledge) that they were all fake and created by a pathetic little girl. So now I was wondering if there was some other meaning to it?

In my dining room we have cupboards, seating bench, table and chairs and display cabinets all hand built and fitted. Its great quality and I really like it except thats it black. I know its going to be a long hard job but it makes the room look small being so dark and I know it would look amazing if I could just get it to a natural wood finish but I dont know the best way to do it. Should I just sand it back? I’m worried the black will have sunk into the wood and I would have to sand too much which would ruin it as there is bevelling on some of the doors and edges. Any ideas how to get black painted wood back to its orginal glory?

so i had a odd dream last night but im eager to know what it means.

i had a dream of a peach tree with blooming pink and red flowers, yet the tree is growing off a round chestnut wooden table. it seem like it was either in the living room or dining area of the house.

i know it sound odd but i read that peach trees symbolize marriage and wealth. funny i met up with a phychic 3 years ago and he told me that i would have a good husband and great wealth. i dont know if its ironic

but i broke up with my ex 7 months ago and dont know ifs hes the one thats gonna come back, he contiune to see me and all, and im only 19

I’m not a character in the dream, but a witness. I see a father & his 2 sons in a small wooden ship with a dining table inside. They’re talking &having a good time, then as the ship approaches dock, it starts to sink! The first reaction for the father is to save his sons; he wants them to go off on their own without him even though they’re so young (like 6 & 10 yr old) & is looking for what to pack them. He doesn’t even want to save himself (even though it’s right next to the dock!he could swim there) or see why the ship is sinking. He just gives his sons orders of what they’ll have to do living on their own..
Intuitiv..: yes, I do have 1 brother (no sisters) & a stepbrother. males aren’t necessarily valued over females, but my father is just a tad chauvinistic sometimes, & I used to consider him sexist when I was younger. but I’m over that now.
hard to say if he’s self sacrificing, since I didn’t get to see him much since my parents were divorced. he did what he could w/ the distance we had, though

I have been having the same dream for a couple of years. I can never fully remember the dream, but i see bits and peices. I remember a large area with hills and valleys & it is all grassy with willow trees, and there are many campfires & people dancing…another part of the same dream is in a house with dark wood panelling and there is one room with a large dining table and another room with lots of portraits..there are huge wooden doors and when i open them there is the same type hills and valleys as before. I have a strong feeling connected with this dream but i cannot seem to figure it out and i feel like i need to for some reason. Can anybody help me figure out why these images/this dream seems so important and how can i figure out the whole thing?

1. Pick up cat and cradle it in the crook of your left arm as if holding a baby. Position right forefinger and thumb on either side of cat’s mouth and gently apply pressure to cheeks while holding pill in right hand. As cat opens mouth, pop pill into mouth. Allow cat to close mouth and swallow.

2. Retrieve pill from floor and cat from behind sofa. Cradle cat in left arm and repeat process.

3. Retrieve cat from bedroom, and throw soggy pill away.

4. Take new pill from foil wrap, cradle cat in left arm, holding rear paws tightly with left hand. Gently force jaws open and push pill to back of mouth with right forefinger. Hold mouth shut for a count of ten.

5. Retrieve pill from goldfish bowl and cat from top of wardrobe. Call spouse from garden.

6. Kneel on floor with cat wedged firmly between knees, hold front and rear paws. Ignore low growls emitted by cat. Get spouse to hold head firmly with one hand while forcing wooden ruler into mouth. Drop pill down ruler and rub cat’s throat vigorously.

7. Retrieve cat from curtain rail, get another pill from foil wrap. Make note to buy new ruler and repair curtains. Carefully sweep shattered figurines and vases from hearth and set to one side for gluing later.

8. Wrap cat in large towel and get spouse to lie on cat with head just visible from below armpit. Put pill in end of drinking straw, force mouth open with pencil and blow down drinking straw.

9. Check label to make sure pill not harmful to humans; drink 1 beer to take taste away. Apply Band-Aid to spouse’s forearm and remove blood from carpet with cold water and mild soap.

10. Retrieve cat from neighbor’s shed. Get another pill. Open another beer. Place cat in cupboard, and close door on neck, to leave head showing. Gently force mouth open with dessert spoon. Flick pill down throat with an elastic band.

11. Fetch screwdriver from garage and put cupboard door back on hinges. Drink beer. Fetch bottle of scotch. Pour shot, drink. Apply cold compress to cheek and check records for date of last tetanus shot. Apply whiskey compress to cheek to disinfect. Toss back another shot. Throw Tee shirt away and fetch new one from bedroom.

12. Call fire department to retrieve the damn cat from across the road. Apologize to neighbor who crashed into fence while swerving to avoid cat. Take last pill from foil wrap.

13. Tie the little bastard’s front paws to rear paws with garden twine and bind tightly to leg of dining table. Find heavy-duty pruning gloves from shed. Push pill into mouth followed by large piece of filet steak. Be rough about it if necessary. Hold head vertically and pour 2 pints of water down throat to wash pill down.

14. Consume remainder of scotch. Get spouse to drive you to the emergency room, sit quietly while doctor stitches fingers and forearm and removes pill remnants from right eye. Call furniture shop on way home to order new table.

15. Arrange for SPCA to collect the "mutant cat from hell" and call local pet shop to see if they have any really small hamsters.

It’s a low-ceiling house with three compartments( living room-dining room, bedrrom and kitchen). I want to renovate it to make it look big and look elegant. I’ve plenty of books, computer table and kitchen appliances (gas range and microwave). Any tips on colors and texture of curtains, paint and black wooden furniture for dining set. I go for minimalist Zen look. Please tell me where to look for ideas on the Internet

I know I need a contractor for this because I myself can’t do it, but I have a question…

I guess there was a complete wall between my kitchen and dining room. Previous owners must have decided to open it up– but did a HORRIBLE job on it (unless they were giants!). Pretty much, they cut down the wall, but it is too high to be used for anything (except as a high table top with really high bar chairs). You can’t really cut on it and you can’t really prep food unless you have a step stool! Not only that, but they got one of the cheap countertops (plastic looking one), plopped it on top of their messy- cut wall (it looks really bad), held it up with huge gray brackets (the walls are white) and on the other side, a wooden pole to hold up that side of the counter. Yes, a wooden pole. That’s not even fastened to the floor, so I can kick it out of place if I want to.

Technically, all that has to be done is to cut more dry wall and place a countertop correcly, right? Do I need to worry about electrical issues or if it’s load bearing? Aside of studs, is there anything I need to consider before getting myself into this? Seems pretty simple, but I have no experience with any kind of construction work.

Oh, I definitely saw it prior to purchasing. But I figured it was a minor adjustment. There are a few things in the house that are actually off on their size (cabinets are hung really low due to large soffits that I am also going to get looked at to see if there is anything behind it). Previous owners seemed a bit lax about the detailing since it is an older home (built in 83). No renovation, but some minor accomadations I guess. I will def get some estimates. Didn’t think that maybe there was something in the wall that stopped them from going lower Thx!

As in, it consists of 2 three seater couches and 1 one seater couch. The color is exactly not black. But when you first look at it, it is somewhat black and when you really look at it, it is navy blueish black. 2 side tables are made of oak and glass. the coffee table is glass with stainless steel sidings. i have another oak bookshelf near it and a black metal bookshelf/tvshelf. 2 stainless steel lamps and side table lambs are beige/cream colored. My current dining room set is made of glass top and ocean blue upholstery velvetty/satin chairs. the chairs don’t match with the couch set, i know. but i bought things on sale etc. i really want to buy a dining room set that matches my other furniture. So should i go for glass top or wood top? If wood, should i go for dark wood tops and black/brown leather chairs? I don’t like upholstery chairs b/c guests always spill things on them. please help. brown or black leather chairs? glass top or wooden top?
